| Activating Your Service |
Your Zambia service will provide you with a Zambia cellular phone number. The number can be found printed in bold on the back of your SIM card package. The number will begin with 09.
- Travel to Zambia
- Be sure that the battery is adequately charged
- Insert the Zambia SIM chip into the cellular phone*
- Turn on your phone
- Enter your PIN code^
- Start calling**
Customer service for your Zambia prepaid SIM card is available 24 hours a day by dialing 1110 at any time from your Zambia cellular phone.
For emergencies while using your local Zambia GSM SIM card in Zambia please dial 112 from your cell phone.
*You will need to snap out the thumbnail sized Zambia SIM card along the perforated edge of its holder and then insert Zambia SIM card into your international cell phone with the gold contacts of the SIM card facing the metal contacts of your international cellular phone.
^ Your phone will prompt you for a 4-digit PIN code, which is located on the welcome letter affixed to your prepaid Zambia SIM card. You will be prompted for PIN1. The PUK is only required to unblock your phone if you enter in a PIN code incorrectly 3 times. Follow your cell phone manual instructions to correctly use the PUK to unblock your phone.
** When calling overseas from the United States to your Zambia cell phone, callers will need to dial 011 followed by country code 260 then your Zambia cell phone number. To call abroad from your Zambia cell phone simply dial the + key on your cell phone or 00 followed by the country code and phone number. To call Telestial you would dial +18582742686 |

| Adding Airtime |
In order to add airtime to your Cayman Islands SIM card, please follow the instructions below. You may purchase additional airtime from Telestial, most convenience stores, tabac shops and petrol stations in Cayman Islands. Additional airtime purchased locally, is available in denominations of 10000, 20000, 50000 and 100000.
- Locate the recharge voucher code, affixed to your SIM card package*
- Enter *958*(recharge voucher code)# and press 'yes/ok/send'
*Telestial provides you with a recharge voucher code, that you will find printed on a sticker, affixed to your SIM card package. At your destination, you can add your airtime and may purchase additional airtime in form of scratch cards, where you will need to scratch off the gray protective layer to reveal your recharge voucher code.
REMEMBER: Do NOT purchase another SIM card when your airtime credit is depleted! You only need a recharge voucher! Your incoming calls are always free, even when you run out of airtime. |

| Service Life |
To keep your account active simply make an outgoing call, send an outgoing SMS or add airtime, at least once every 90 days. If there is no action within this time then your mobile phone number will be recycled and any remaining airtime will be forfeit. To get connected again you will be required to purchase another SIM card. The validity period begins the day you arrive in Zambia. |
