Where can I find the rates?
The rates for all countries are listed on the rate finder, which you find on all the product pages for the Passport, One-Rate, Explorer and SIMple Calling SIMs. Just click on the rate finder button and select the countries you are calling from and to. The rate finder button looks like this:

What will my phone number be?
Domestic SIM cards come with a local telephone number. Our Telestial International SIM Cards come with a UK (+44, British Isles) phone number.
Which SIM or package is best for me?
That depends on your needs as well as existing equipment you might own.
If you already own and unlocked GSM handset that can be used at your destination and you want to bring your own handset with you on your trip, all you need to purchase is a SIM card. Our roaming SIM cards, OneRate, Passport and Explorer, are usually the best fit for shorter and multi-country trips, people that travel often and place or receive calls back home. Domestic SIM cards should be considered if you are staying in one country for an extended period of time and if you are expecting a lot of calls within that country.
If you do not own a GSM handset or don't want to take your phone with you, we recommend one of our packages. You can also match up any SIM card with a handset during the checkout process and create your own package.

How do I recharge?
For all Telestial SIMs, recharging is easy. You can go to www.rechargeminutes.com to recharge online, or you can recharge directly from the phone or by calling customer service. We also offer airtime vouchers for selected domestic SIM cards online, or you can recharge your local SIM card by purchasing airtime vouchers at gas station, convenience stores, etc. at your destination.
Is voicemail, text messaging, and data included?
Yes, These features are all included with your Telestial service. If you intend to use a lot of data, consider purchasing a data bundle. Nearly all domestic SIM cards offer all of the services mentioned above, please check the product page for details.
How do I activate the SIM card?
Every Telestial SIM card is pre-activated and ready to use. Your Global phone number and PIN are printed on the SIM card. Your Global service is already active for you, no registration is necessary. Calling and texting is automatically activated once you pick up a network for the first time. For instructions regarding the activation of your US number and the configuration of data, please refer to the detailed user guide that accompanies your SIM card.
For domestic SIM cards, the activation process varies, please refer to the product page for details. Please note that some domestic SIM cards require you to send in a copy of your passport for activation.
Can my balance or the SIM card itself expire?
Balances and SIM cards do expire. The expiration terms are different for each SIM, so please refer to the product page for details.
What SIM card size do I need?
If you order a SIM card and phone package from Telestial, then we will include the right sized SIM card automatically. If you purchase a SIM card only, please check your handset to see what SIM card is needed for your device. You can select the SIM card size during the checkout process. If you are unsure what SIM card size you need then please email us your make and model phone to email@example.com and we will let you know what size you need.
Can I use my own handset?
Yes! As long as your phone is unlocked and works at your destination, you will be able to use it with our services. If you are unsure about your phones ability to work at your destination, please email us your make and model phone to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will let you know if your phone works at your destination. The easiest way to know if your phone is unlocked is to check with your provider where the phone was purchased. They will also advise on how it can be unlocked.
Are there roaming fees?
There are no roaming fees. The rate finder shows you exactly what you will pay per minute.
Do you offer SIM car for tablets,ipads and modems?
Yes, we recommend purchasing a Data SIM
for these devices.
What countries offer data?
Data is available in most countries, for details please refer to the rate finder or product page.
How much data is used by different apps?

Do the phones come with a battery and charger?
All our cell phones come with one battery and one charger included.
Will I need an adapter or voltage converter?
All of our chargers support the necessary voltage for any part of the world. We do have an international adapter available for purchase for the different outlets abroad. You can add adapters to your purchase during the checkout process.
Will people be charged to call me?
Your family or friends will be charged to dial your British Isles number, or your US number. What that charge is, would be a question they should ask their service provider before calling you. All calls to domestic SIM cards are considered international calls.
What happens if I don't use up all my credit?
For all Telestial SIM cards, if the balance is not used, any remaining credit will remain on the SIM card until you next use the service. If the balance expires, you can get it re-instated when you next recharge the account. (Minimum $30.00). Credit on domestic SIM cards expires as per the terms listed on the product page.

Do you offer 3G and 4G data?
We offer up to 3G speeds; unfortunately 4G is currently not available.
Do you offer unlimited plans?
Our service is a pre-paid service, unlimited plans are currently unavailable.
How do I set up tethering or a hotspot?
For details on how to set up tethering on your device, please refer to the list below. If your smartphone manufacturer is not listed, please refer to the manufacturer's website for details.
Apple iPhone & iPad
The table below lists the iPhones and iPads (Wi-Fi + Cellular models) capable of Personal Hotspot and which connections they can use to share cellular data with another device:
* on iPhone 3G, Personal Hotspot is referred to as Internet Tethering.

Use the following steps to set up Personal Hotspot:
Select 'Settings' > 'General' > 'Network'
Tap Personal Hotspot and turn it on
(iPhone 3 interface referes to this as Internet Tethering)
Choose whether to enable Bluetooth or Wi-Fi and USB
(Wi-Fi requires iPhone 4 or later, or iPad (3rd generation) Wi-Fi + Cellular)
After configuring Personal Hotspot, you can directly acces the settings from 'Settings' > 'Personal Hotspot'
Search for your newly created WiFi hotspot using your computer or other WiFi enabled device.
Apple iOS 9.3.1 wifi tethering
Select 'Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data Options > Cellular Data Network
Enter 'mobiledata' in both the Cellular Data APN field and Personal Hotspot APN field
Android Devices including JT Smart
Select 'Settings' > 'More...' > 'Tethering and portable hotspot'
Select 'Configure Wi-Fi hotspot' to customise the WLAN hotspot:

This is the device name that will be shown to external devices.
Security Select the security type.
When you are finished, select 'Save'.
From another device, locate your Samsung device's name in the available connection list and connect to the network.
Select 'Settings' > 'Wireless & networks' > 'Portable WiFi hotspot settings'
Tick Portable WiFi Hotspot and follow the prompts.
Router name SSID - Enter the name
This is the device name that will be shown to external devices.
Security - Select the security type.
When you are finished, select Save.
From another device, locate your HTC device's name in the available connection list and connect to the network.
Telestial offers a 100% money-back guarantee of the purchase price (excluding shipping and handling charges) on all mobile phones and SIM cards returned to Telestial within seven (7) days of receipt.
Telestial will not pay for return shipping costs. All returned products must be returned unused in 'like new' condition, with all original boxes and packing materials, components, manuals, blank warranty cards and other accessories provided by the manufacturer. You must repack the product in its original packaging, along with all manuals, accessories and related materials, and place the packaged product in a protective outer box.
Telestial will only accept product returns that are accompanied by a 'return number' issued by Customer Service. Please make sure to include your return number in your package.
If a mobile phone is returned in an incomplete, scratched or damaged condition, Telestial reserves the right to refuse to refund the purchase price and the product will be returned to you.
