| Activating Your Service |
Your Ecuador SIM card will provide you with a Ecuador cellular phone number, which can be found on the back of your SIM card package.
- Travel to Ecuador
- Be sure that the battery is adequately charged
- Insert the Ecuador SIM chip into the cellular phone*
- Turn on your phone
- Enter the PIN code (default 0000)^
- Start calling**
*You will need to snap out the thumbnail sized Ecuador SIM card along the perforated edge of its holder and then insert the Ecuador SIM card into your international cell phone with the gold contacts of the SIM card facing the metal contacts of your international cellular phone.
^Your phone will prompt you for a 4 digit PIN code (PIN), which is printed on the card where your SIM card is detached from. The PUK is only required to unblock your cell phone if you enter the PIN code incorrectly 3 times. Follow your international cellular phone manual instructions to correctly use the PUK to unblock your phone.
**When calling overseas from the United States to your Ecuador cell phone, callers will need to dial 011 followed by country code 593 and your Ecuador cell phone number, omitting the first 0 (zero). To call abroad from your Ecuador cell phone simply dial + followed by the country code and phone number. For example, to call Telestial you would dial +18582742686
Customer service for your prepaid Ecuador SIM card can be contacted on 5622 (charges may apply).
For emergencies while using your local Ecuador SIM card in Ecuador please dial 101 for the Police and 102 for the Fire brigade from your cell phone. |

| Adding Airtime |
Your Ecuador SIM card comes pre-loaded with US$6.00. Once your airtime is depleted you can recharge your Ecuador SIM card. To do so, please follow the instructions below:
- Purchase a Movistar recharge card
- Scratch of the gray protective layer to reveal your recharge voucher code
- Enter *107*(recharge voucher code)# and press 'yes/ok/send'
PLEASE NOTE: Do NOT purchase another SIM card when your airtime credit is depleted! All you need is to recharge your Ecuador service. |

Your Ecuador service is valid for 3 months. Failure to recharge within these 3 months or place a chargeable call will result in the permanent termination of your account. In order to continue using your Ecuador service, you will need to purchase another SIM card |
