| Activating Your Service |
Your Indonesia SIM card will provide you with a Indonesia cellular phone number, which can be found on the front of your SIM card package. Your Indonesia phone number begins with 083.
- Travel to Indonesia
- Be sure that the battery is adequately charged
- Insert the Indonesia SIM chip into the cellular phone*
- Turn on your phone
- Enter the PIN code^
- Call 888 and your service will be activated and the initial credit added to your SIM card
- Start calling**
*You will need to snap out the thumbnail sized Indonesia SIM card along the perforated edge of its holder and then insert the Indonesia SIM card into your international cell phone with the gold contacts of the SIM card facing the metal contacts of your international cellular phone.
^Your phone will prompt you for a 4 digit PIN code (PIN), which is printed on the card where your SIM card is detached from. The PUK is only required to unblock your cell phone if you enter the PIN code incorrectly 3 times. Follow your international cellular phone manual instructions to correctly use the PUK to unblock your phone.
**When calling overseas from the United States to your Indonesia cell phone, callers will need to dial 011 followed by country code 62 and your Indonesia cell phone number, omitting the first 0 (zero). To call abroad from your Indonesia cell phone, simply dial + followed by the country code and phone number. For example, to call Telestial you would dial +18582742686
Customer service for your prepaid Indonesia SIM card can be contacted at anytime by dialing 838 from your Indonesia cellular phone (charges may apply).
For emergencies while using your local Indonesia SIM card in Indonesia please dial 110 for Police, 118 Ambulance and 113 for Fire from your cell phone. |

Your prepaid Indonesia SIM card comes with an initial starter airtime credit of IDR 6000 (approx. US$0.55). You can top-up your prepaid Indonesia SIM card by purchasing a top-up card (airtime vouchers), not another SIM card. These airtime vouchers are available locally at tabac shops, convenience stores, petrol stations, AXIS centers and authorized dealers.
To recharge your Indonesia service, please:
- Purchase an AXIS airtime voucher
- Scratch off the protective layer to reveal your recharge voucher code

The initial airtime credit on your SIM card is active for 30 days after the activation date. Failure to recharge within these 30 days will result in a termination of your service. The validity period will depend on the recharge denomination you add to your SIM card. |
