| Activating Your Service |
Your Denmark SIM card will provide you with a Denmark cellular phone number, which can be found on the back of your SIM card package.
- Travel to Denmark
- Be sure that the battery is adequately charged
- Insert the Denmark SIM chip into the cellular phone*
- Turn on your phone
- Enter the PIN code (default 0000)^
- Start calling**
*You will need to snap out the thumbnail sized Denmark SIM card along the perforated edge of its holder and then insert the Denmark SIM card into your international cell phone with the gold contacts of the SIM card facing the metal contacts of your international cellular phone.
^Your phone will prompt you for a 4 digit PIN code (PIN), which is printed on the card where your SIM card is detached from. The PUK is only required to unblock your cell phone if you enter the PIN code incorrectly 3 times. Follow your international cellular phone manual instructions to correctly use the PUK to unblock your phone.
**When calling overseas from the United States to your Denmark cell phone, callers will need to dial 011 followed by country code 45 and your Denmark cell phone number, omitting the first 0 (zero). To call abroad from your Denmark cell phone simply dial + followed by the country code and phone number. For example, to call Telestial you would dial +18582742686
Customer service for your prepaid Denmark SIM card can be contacted on 80 40 40 40 from 8am to 8pm weekdays and 8am to 4pm weekends & holidays (charges may apply).
For emergencies while using your local Denmark SIM card in Denmark please dial 112 for the central emergency number from your cell phone. |

Your prepaid Denmark SIM card comes with an initial starter airtime credit of DKK 100 (approx. US$17.26). You can top-up your prepaid Denmark SIM card by purchasing a top-up card (airtime vouchers), not another SIM card. These airtime vouchers are available locally at tabac shops, convenience stores, petrol stations and Telia authorized dealers.
To recharge your Denmark service, please follow the instructions below:
- Purchase a recharge card
- Scratch off the gray protective layer to reveal your recharge voucher code
- Call 80 40 40 40 and follow the voice prompts
- You will be asked to enter your recharge voucher code

Your Denmark service is valid for 6 months after activation. Failure to recharge or place any chargeable calls within this 6-month period will result in a permanent termination of your Denmark service. In order to continue using your Denmark service, you will need to purchase another SIM card. |
