| Activating Your Service |
Your Bulgaria mobile phone number is the 10 digit number displayed on the label of the SIM card packaging and begins with 08.
- Travel to Bulgaria
- Be sure that the battery is charged
- Insert the Bulgaria SIM card into your mobile phone*
- Turn on the phone
- Enter the four-digit PIN1 code^
- Wait until the �GloBul� network is displayed on your phone�s screen
- Start calling**
*You will need to snap out the thumbnail sized Bulgaria SIM card along the perforated edge of its holder and then insert the Bulgaria SIM card into your international cell phone with the gold contacts of the SIM card facing the metal contacts of your international cellular phone.
^Your phone will prompt you for a 4 digit PIN1 code, which is located on the plastic card where your SIM card is detached from. The PUK is only required to unblock your cell phone if you enter the PIN1 code incorrectly 3 times. Follow your international cellular phone manual instructions to correctly use the PUK to unblock your phone.
**When calling overseas from the United States to your Bulgaria cell phone, callers will need to dial 011 followed by the country code 359 and then your Bulgaria cell phone number, omitting the first 0 (zero). To call abroad from your Bulgaria cell phone simply dial + followed by the country code and phone number. To call Telestial you would dial +18582742686

| Adding Airtime |
Your SIM card has an initial airtime credit of BGN 10 (approx. US$7.20). Additional credit is available through the purchase of airtime vouchers, also called scratch cards (not another SIM card) in Bulgaria. Airtime vouchers are available locally in Bulgaria in all specialized Globul, Da da, Germanos, Global Net and Office 1 Superstore shops. Airtime vouchers are available in the following denominations:
- BGN 5 (approx. US$3.50) � No additional service life.
- BGN 15 (approx. US$10.50) � Extends service life for an additional 12 months.
- BGN 25 (approx. US$17.50) � Extends service life for an additional 12 months.
- BGN 40 (approx. US$28.00) - Extends service life for an additional 12 months.
Once you buy a top-up card, follow these simple steps to top up:
- Scratch off the protective layer to reveal your voucher code
- Call 1330 and wait for the voice prompts
- When prompted, enter the voucher code to recharge your phone
- Wait for a confirmation of your recharge and validity period
Remember: Do not purchase another SIM card when your airtime credit is depleted! You only need a recharge voucher! Your incoming calls are always free even when you run out of airtime. |

| Service Life |
Your prepaid Bulgaria SIM card service has an initial activity period of 12 months.
If your recharge value is above 10 BGN, your validity period will automatically extend by a further 12 months. For recharges below 10 BGN no extension of your validity period will be granted, unless you recharge less than 10 BGN in the 12th and 13th month, where you will receive an extra 30 days of service life.
If you do not recharge within the 12-month period, your remaining credit will expire and you can only receive calls. Your Bulgaria phone number will remain active for a further 30 days, should you not wish to recharge within the 30-day grace period, your phone number will be recycled and in order to continue using your Bulgaria service, you will need to purchase a new SIM card. |
