This SIM is only available as a standard-sized SIM. If you need a micro or nano SIM, then you can cut the SIM with a SIM cutter to the required size. This however voids the warranty of the SIM. As an alternative, please consider purchasing a Passport SIM card, which is available as a micro and nano SIM.

 Adding Airtime

Additional airtime is available through the purchase of airtime vouchers, also called reload codes. Airtime vouchers are available locally in Mexico at tobacco shops, convenience stores, Telcel shops and authorized dealers.

 Service Life

If you do not recharge your SIM card balance within 2 months, any remaining airtime balance will expire from your local Mexico SIM card. You will have an additional 2 months to add airtime to your SIM card and keep the same Mexico cell phone number. After 4 months if you have not added any airtime credit your Mexico mobile phone number and SIM card will be disconnected. To get connected again you will be required to purchase a new SIM card. This 2 / 4 month validity period starts the day you arrive in Mexico and activate your SIM card.
