| Activating Your Service |
Your phone number is printed on the SIM card. Please read the letter carefully and keep in a safe place.
Your Global service is already active for you. When you receive your package, you should:
- 1. Check that the SIM card is correctly inserted and secure.
* The SIM card is already inserted into your phone if you ordered one. The SIM card is the small chip card
located in the back of the phone. It allows you to connect to the network.
- 2. Attach the fully charged battery to the phone.
- 3. Turn the phone on.
* Refer to your handset user guide on how to turn it on.
- 4. When the phone registers with an available network (this will take 30-120 seconds) it is ready for use.
* To make an outgoing call, simply dial the +country code (1 for the US/Canada) and phone number and then press the [SEND] key. You will then receive an incoming call. Simply answer the call and wait for your party to be connected. For example, dial +12313375555 if you were to call Los Angeles in the USA.
When calling from the United States to your Talk Abroad Travel phone number, callers will need to dial 011 followed by your Talk Abroad Travel cell phone number. |

| Adding Airtime |
You can check your credit balance FREE of charge as often as you would like by dialing *187*# followed by
the SEND key. You will immediately receive a text notification displaying your balance, which is in $USD.
Buying more calling time is simple. You may add call credit in USD $29 increments to your Talk Abroad
account before you depart the USA or when you are overseas.
1. Before you depart the USA
- From a landline or payphone, simply dial 1-800-287-5072 (Toll-free), please have your Talk Abroad phone number and credit card handy.
2. While you are overseas
- From your cell phone, simply dial *101*# (FREE of charge) followed by the SEND or call key, please have your Talk Abroad
phone number and credit card handy.

| Service Life |
The service life of your Talk Abroad SIM card is 12 months from last use. You will need to have call credit
on your prepaid account to make or receive calls or use value-added services like balance and voicemail retrieval. To extend the
life of the card another 12 months, you must make or receive a call or send an SMS message.

payphone.
Voicemail
To access your voicemail, simply dial *123*# [SEND]. Voicemail is
automatically enabled. An inbound caller will be directed to voicemail if the call is not answered within 30 seconds, if the
phone is switched off or if there is no coverage.
*You will be charged to access your voicemail as if you were calling to a ZONE 1 country.
Balance Inquiry
