Purchase your ProtectAssist coverage within 15 days* of your initial trip deposit and you'll receive:

• Coverage for financial default of an airline, a cruise line or tour operator
• A waiver of any pre-existing medical conditions that could eventually cause you to cancel or interrupt your trip
• Missed Connection benefit increases to $500
• Flight Guard coverage of $50,000

* Day one is the date the trip deposit was received.

Increase your coverage with these valuable additions to any ProtectAssist plan:

• Flight Guard
  This addition will cover you and your family in the event of loss of life while you are traveling in the air. This may be purchased with coverage in increments of $100,000. Costs start at $9.
• $35,000: Renter's Collision Insurance
  $35,000 in primary coverage! Covers cost of repairs for collision damage to a rental car, up to the limit of coverage, for which the car rental contract holds you responsible. Subject to a $250 deductible.
• Umbrella Package
  Valuable additions to increase your coverages. Your medical and emergency evacuation benefits will double in coverage. Your medical coverage will be upgraded to primary coverage. For Emergency Evacuation, we will coordinate the appropriate medical transportation to bring you home, or if medically necessary, to the nearest adequate medical facility. If you are hospitalized for more than 7 days, you will receive coverage for transportation of dependent children and transportation of a person to join you bedside. Available globally and domestically, anytime you are more than 100 miles from home. You will also receive a detailed pre-trip travel advisory. (Cannot be purchased separately.)
