| Activating Your Service |
Your Ireland SIM card will provide you with an Ireland cellular phone number, which can be found printed on the small booklet inside your SIM card package. The number begins with 086.
- Travel to Ireland
- Be sure that the battery is adequately charged
- Insert Speakeasy SIM card into the mobile phone*
- Turn on your phone
- Enter the PIN code when prompted^
- Call Customer Support at 1747 to select your pricing plan (Early Bird or Night Owl)
- Start calling**
Customer support for your Ireland O2 prepaid SIM card is available 24 hours a day by dialing 1747 from your Ireland cell phone or by calling 185061747 from land line phone.
For your reference, the emergency numbers while in Ireland are: 999 for Police, Ambulance, and Fire
*You will need to snap out the thumbnail sized Ireland SIM card along the perforated edge of its holder and then insert the Ireland SIM card into your international cell phone with the gold contacts of the SIM card facing the metal contacts of your international cellular phone.
^Your cell phone will prompt you for a 4 digit PIN code, which can be found on the card affixed to your prepaid SIM card in your Ireland SIM packaging. This is a security feature of your Ireland SIM card. The PUK is only required to unblock your phone if you enter a PIN code incorrectly 3 times. Follow your cell phone manual instructions to correctly use the PUK to unblock your cellular phone if this occurs.
**When calling overseas from the United States to your Ireland cell phone, callers will need to dial 011 followed by the country code 353 and then your Ireland cell phone number, omitting the first 0 (zero). To call abroad from your Ireland cell phone, simply dial 00 followed by the country code and phone number. |

Domestic rates are per minute for outgoing calls within Ireland from your Ireland SIM card. All incoming calls, regardless of where they originate, are FREE with your Ireland SIM card. Your Ireland SIM card allows you to choose between 2 calling plans.

While roaming you may receive calls from anywhere in the world. You may make local outgoing calls within the country you are roaming in and to Ireland. Calls to other countries are not available while roaming. |
GPRS Data Rates (Wireless Internet)
GPRS data connectivity is available with your Ireland prepaid SIM card at a very reasonable 0.03 EUR per kbyte, however a GPRS compatible phone is required. Call O2 customer care at 1747 to configure your Ireland mobile phone for this service. |

| Adding Airtime |
To purchase additional airtime for your Ireland SIM card, you will need to purchase Speakeasy Top Up cards. Top Up cards may be in purchased at most convenience stores, O2 dealers, tabac shops and petrol stations throughout Ireland. Top Up cards are available at face value in 10 EUR, 15 EUR, 20 EUR, 25 EUR and 30 EUR denominations.
A 25 EUR Top Up card will cost you 25 EUR and subsequently will credit your Ireland SIM card for 25 EUR. To recharge your Ireland service, please follow the instructions below.
- Scratch off the protective layer to reveal your recharge voucher code
- Enter *104*(top up amount)*(your access code)# and then press ‘yes/ok/send’
NOTE: You will need to register your laser / credit card in order to top up your account. To do so, please call customer service on 1747.
Remember: Do NOT purchase another Ireland SIM card when your airtime credit is depleted, you only need a Top Up card.

| Service Life |
Your Ireland service has an initial validity period of 12 months. If you do not recharge your account within these 12 months, your mobile phone number will be recycled and any remaining airtime credit will be forfeit. To get connected again you will be required to purchase another SIM card. The 12 month period starts the day you arrive in Ireland. |
