Activating Your Service

Please refer to the user guide for more information on your SIMple Calling SIM card.

As soon as you receive your package, carefully read the enclosed Welcome Letter and User Guide. You will find your new phone number and instructions to activate it.

There are 3 ways to activate the service: online, over the phone using our self-service menu or over the phone with a Customer Service Representative.

Note: Your SIMple Calling service is automatically deactivated 1 week after your last call or text message; however the remaining credit is not expired until 9 months after your last call or text message. To reactivate your service, simply follow the initial activation instructions.

1. Online (recommended)

We recommend activating your SIMple Calling service online at www.simplecalling.com

2. Over the phone using our self-service menu

Your SIMple Calling SIM card will provide you with a USA phone number with one of the area codes of the Greater Los Angeles area.

Customer Service for your SIMple calling prepaid SIM card is available 24 hours a day by dialing 154 from your cellular phone (once the service has been activated).

For emergencies while using your SIMple Calling service in the USA please dial 911 from your cell phone.

A per minute surcharge applies when calling to landlines and mobiles of certain countries. Click here for details.

Example: The cost of a call from the US to a landline in Australia is US$0.59 for the first minute and then US$0.09 per subsequent minute of that call.

Example: The cost to receive a call when you are in the USA is US$0.59 for the first minute and then US$0.09 per subsequent minute of that call.

Roaming Calls (calls placed when traveling outside of the country)

The SIMple Calling service works in the USA and Canada.

GPRS Data Rates (Wireless Internet)

GPRS is currently not available with your SIMple Calling service.

Adding Airtime

Buying more calling time is simple. Use your American Express, Mastercard or VISA card to add USD $30, $50, $100, $150 or $200 to your SIMple Calling account.

1. Online

Simply visit http:// www.simplecalling.com

2. Call from a land line phone

1. Dial the toll free access number for the country you are in (see above)
2. Enter your phone number then press the hash key
3. Press 1 to recharge using the Self-service phone menu.
4. Follow the voice prompts to recharge your account

3. With your SIMple Calling cell phone

1. Dial 191 from your phone
2. Follow the voice prompts to recharge your account

Service Life

You must use a charged service (such as making a call, or sending a text message), or recharge within any 9 month period, otherwise your remaining credit will expire. You can restore the expired credit by contacting Customer Service and recharging your account by a minimum of USD$30.

You must recharge at least once every 15 months to keep the SIM card active.
